In my first year of blogging here on Home Baked (2008) I featured 12 days of festive treats including childhood favourites and new seasonal things to try.
This project was a labour of love and I baked the recipes in real time so each day I was chasing the last bit of day light to complete (and failing on most of them!).
The pictures are not the greatest - I was photographing in bad winter lighting in a kitchen that had fluorescent lights and with my mobile phone - however the recipes are pretty fabulous so don't be put off!
The ones marked with a * are our special family favourites.
