Thanks so much to everyone who took part in the Home Baked Challenge this month! You can see all the entries in the flickr group here.
Voting was very close again this time and can you believe it - we have a tie-break situation!!
The winners are Duckling Soup and The Hungry Caterpillar Cake - well done to you both!!
Prizes this month are a (small) amazon voucher and the Home Baked Challenge winner's blog badge! (Drop me an email and I will be able to send them digitally).

Thanks again to Alex for being our guest judge this month.
So are you ready for a new challenge in April? Quite a few people who want to join in keep missing the deadline - is 3 weeks too short a time? Shall I make the challenge quarterly so you have more time to prepare something? I know we all get busier in Spring so let me know what you think in the comments or via email (homebakedonline at gmail dot com).
Congratulations to the winners, they were both great entries!
ReplyDeleteI missed the deadline but only because I misremembered. Thinking it was a March competition I assumed the deadline was the end of the month. Now I have it in my head I'm sure I will be able to get it done in 3 weeks, I just need to stop procrastinating!
congratulations both of you :) Gotta say my personal favourite was Amelia Bedelia :)
ReplyDeleteI am ever so excited I won, I won, I won. But the best bit was the actual eating! I woould say the taking part, but that wouldnt be true!!

ReplyDeleteWell done to the winners.
I want to enter the next one
huge congrats xx :-)
ReplyDeleteI think keep it as it is Hannah and just keep reminding people (me!)about the deadline ;o)
ReplyDeleteI think quarterly, people (I!)might be even more likely to forget when the deadline is
Well done winners by the way :o) but I did think the chocolate sprouts were quite genius too!
congratulations to the winners, wonderful ideas.
ReplyDeletestick with 3 weeks I say xxx
It was fun looking through the entries and reading them all. Thanks for invitiing me to be a judge!
ReplyDeleteWe will keep an eye out on future challenges and maybe participate...
Thanks to the judges for their vote for our entry, I would most like to eat the lemon meringue pie, yum and think the most ingenious were the chocolate sprout.
ReplyDeleteI do know the faraway tree although meeting it for the first time as a middle aged adult I couldn't quite get along with it. But who is Amelia Bedelia, have I missed an iconic childhood character?
hi! did you decide on the challenge for april as yet? I want to try and be on time this time around!;-)
ReplyDeleteI'll be announcing the theme for April tomorrow! Looking forward to you entering!
