As Brits we often make a fuss over not very much when the weather turns cold but today is a bona fide, proper snow day! The buses are cancelled, school is closed and I have a very happy 12 year old boy who has been out there playing in the snow since 8.20am.
We haven't had this much snow in a good few years and certainly not since we moved to this home so we are very excited about not only having a big garden full of untouched snow but also a field out the back with a little hill for sledging!
The snow is still falling thick and fast and I have to admit, I'm itching to get out there myself to help Cameron with the snowman he's started!
Wishing you a wonderful Wintery day.

Happy Snow day! try and keep warm!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sarah :o)
DeleteMy two are so over it. Today's snow is wet and horizontal so they have been in all day!
ReplyDeleteAwww! Schools are back open today, here - Cameron's not at all impressed that he's studying instead of sledging.
Deleteyay for snow and for snow days! My kids (and I) lived for them. My daughter in law school was wishing for one the other day as well. It never changes. Have fun and stay warm!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Karen :o)
DeleteI love the snow. We got our snow yesterday (yayy that we got some, boo for it being a weekend so no extra day off! lol). We all had to go to school today. I have to confess to being disapointed we haven't had any more snow today.
ReplyDeleteHope you had a great day :-)
Aww sorry you missed out on snow day - perhaps another one will be along shortly?
ReplyDeleteIt's still snowing here but the schools and buses are back open.
