Blueberry Cheesecake, Break

Can you believe we're into the last third of August, already?  This Summer is whizzing by and I'm flying through my wishlist, determined to squeeze everything I can out of it.
This weekend was filled with train adventures, catching up with home ed friends, attempting to keep up with the garden, carbooting, a foraging walk along the canal path and blueberry cheese cake (watch out - that recipe says it serves four but it is huge)!

Blueberry Cheesecake

In the spirit of making the most of our time before the September term starts I'm going to take a little break from this space and come back on Friday.  Wishing you a wonderful week!

  1. Hahaha with that much cheesecake you need a few days off to work it off. Enjoy :o)

  2. Finally a recipe that serves more than it states!! I am always a bit annoyed to make a veg curry (like this week for example) and be told it serves 6-8 and find that with just rice it serves four! Four regular adults, not harvest mice ...
    Enjoy your break. xx

    1. I agree, Jules - I get annoyed with the mouse sized portions in some recipes, too.
      Thanks.

  3. Enjoy your break. And at last a recipe that offers mjoe actual servngs than stated. I really get frustrated with recipes that say "" (like the veg curry I made today) when there are clearly only four servings. People need to state whether they are feeding real adults or harvest mice!

  4. So yummy looking! I hope our blueberry bushes give us enough next year so we can make some recipes. We were able to squeeze out a blueberry pound cake.

  5. Oh that cheesecake looks amazing (and would probably only serve four here ;0)

    1. I'm still using frozen blueberries in my smoothies even though they're in season as I like the way it makes them nice and cold.
